The architecture and stability of peri-implant tissues are critical determinants of esthetic success in implant-supported restorations. Following extraction or the loss of a failing tooth, soft- and hard-tissue remodeling is inevitable. When replacing adjacent teeth with implants, clinical complexity increases substantially. An article published in Perio Clínica presents the interdisciplinary management of two esthetically demanding cases involving failed adjacent teeth in the anterior zone, using immediate implant placement and simultaneous provisionalization. The report discusses diagnostic protocols, treatment planning, execution, and long-term stability, all based on current scientific evidence.
